This imported briar sandblasted pipe has a special "dye-first, sand-second" procedure. Not only does this treatment provide a subtle yet opulent look, but it also ingeniously expands the surface area to improve airflow, which speeds up heat dissipation and ensures a consistently cool, comfortable smoke while avoiding tongue bite and hot patches. In order to emphasize the strong grain structures, our pipe masters gently remove the softer yearly ring fibers from the briar bowl using high-speed abrasive blasting, exposing crisp briar growth rings and distinctive "ring lines." With its deep depth and three-dimensional visual impact, this sandblast finish outperforms pipes that have been smooth-polished.
