Learning how to pack a pipe for smoking is an essential skill. However it is still a mystery to many people.


The goal of the video is to teach the necessary skills of packing a pipe and get the pipe started in the right way, through the proper knowledge of theory and practice. It also tries to provide an overview over various packaging techniques for different pipes that are used for smoking - with different materials, different final products and so on.


This two-minute documentary was created by Oleg Karpov, who owns Russian online shop Erectors (Russia). The idea came from his recent visit to London and his discussions with some well-known British experts in this field. Do Dugouts Come With A One-Hitter?

 A dugout, a test box, a Lincoln log, a beater... whatever you want to call it, the hideout is the classic case for carrying pipes to the beater. This wooden dugout , like most benches, has a weed chamber, a cleaning tool and a mallet. The only dugout is a container for storing weed and a small pipe that looks like a cigarette.
